  2. Waist – in standing up pose, breathing naturally, the circumference of the smallest part of your waist.
  3. Hip – in standing up pose, the circumference of the largest part of hip.
  4. Back Waist Length – the distance from neck point across the shoulder blade to the waistline.
  5. Bust – in standing up pose, breathing naturally, the circumference of the biggest part of bust.
  6. Front width – in standing up pose, the distance between two front armpits.
  7. Back width – in standing up pose, the distance between two back armpits.
  8. Front Waist Length – in standing up pose, the distance from neck point across the bust to the waistline.
  9. Breast Height – in standing up pose, the distance from neck point to breast point
  10. Shoulder Width – Take from back, the distance between two Shoulder joint.
  11. Armhole – the circumference of your armhole.
  12. Neck Girth – the circumference of the bottom of the neck.

List above are the needed measurements to custom made a traditional cheongsam IN PERSON. However, when we custom made a dress ONLINE(dresses are measured and made by different person) , some numbers are not requested (such as Neck Girth) unless the standard size is not suitable. Our tailor suggest to use the standard size for custom made dress base on customer’s height and body weight. Remember it’s always easy to downsize a dress than make it bigger.
